I was born in Miami, and grew up outside of New Orleans; I’ve also lived in Texas, California, Nevada, and Oregon. Since 2007, I’ve lived in Santa Rosa, California.
I have no formal art education, apart from two digital-media classes in college. My bachelor’s degree is in liberal arts, my master’s in library science. Most of my professional work has been clerical in nature.
Outside of work and art, I have an utterly insane variety of densely interconnected interests, including astronomy, physics, cognitive science, anthropology, linguistics, and the history of science. I also spend an inordinate amount of time playing with computers. When I can, I enjoy good movies, weird music, reading science fiction, spending time with my spouse and our menagerie, and consuming massive quantities of caffeinated beverages.
